CHURCH PLANTING

Starting churches has been part of Northwood since 1992, when we planted our first church. Since then, Northwood has become one of the leaders in America in planting over 200 churches.

Each year, Northwood Church Planting equips up to 25 church planters throughout the US through our church planting ministry. We have a pre-assessment, a couples assessment, training, coaching and mentoring. The training includes an onsite 4-day Cohort. During this process, Northwood supplies curriculum, coaching, and resources to equip planters on how to start and maintain a multiethnic church. After completion of the initial assessment and training, the planters and their wives are coached and mentored for the next 18 months on how to mobilize their church locally, globally, and carry on church multiplication in their own location.
