Why do we need an initiative like Maximize?

God is moving in unique ways at Northwood right now as He is bringing a lot of growth to our church. We want to maximize this moment. We are out of space in our Multi-Ability ministry, getting very tight on Kid's space & are completely maxed out on Group's space. We need to reimagine our space to continue to allow others to join our authentic community & be sent out to Live and Love like Jesus.

When would we start the renovations?

It is our goal to begin construction no later than the summer of 2025 & be finished with the initiative by fall of 2026.

Will my contributions be made public?

No, only the total of all commitments received will be announced as we track the progress of the initiative.

Can I give in other ways besides cash or check?

Absolutely! Not only can you give online, in-person or by mailing in cash or checks, you can also support this initiative by giving stocks or crypto currencies! Please email markkimmel@northwoodchurch.org to arrange these transactions.

What is the estimated cost of the initiative?

$3.2 million will include a new Multi-Ability (special needs) space, a redesigned Kid's space, new adult classrooms, a redesigned Chapel, & connecting our Student's building (The Plex) to our main building.

Do we have the ability to do this?

We are walking in faith that God can do far more than we could ever hope for or imagine (Ephesians 3:20)! When we all partner with God in sacrificially giving to this initiative, we are maximizing this moment in time. We believe God will reveal His glory through this project.
