Common Questions
Our services are a dedicated time where our community can come together to worship Jesus and learn more about what it means to be the Body of Christ. We open worship by singing together as a church, which is followed by a message from one of our pastors. After the message, you can pray with one of our prayer partners or take part in communion if you feel led to do so!
Each week our multi-ethnic worship team leads the congregation in worship music from various time periods and ethnic traditions. You’ll worship with contemporary, gospel, hymns, and many other styles on any given Sunday. Our messages, typically led by our lead pastor, Scott Venable, are a Bible-based exploration into how people can realize their future is here and step into God’s story for their lives. Enjoy a MessageWhatever you normally wear! We are more concerned about meeting you than what you are wearing. As a multi-generational, multi-ethnic church, you’ll see nearly every style of clothing.
Northwood provides dedicated parking spaces for guests of our church. Once you enter our parking lot—there are signs to follow that will bring you to our Guest Parking spaces. From there you can enter the building through our guest entrance. Be sure to visit our New Here Kiosk so that we can meet you and show you around!
Every week after each service you are invited to join us at our Information Center. While there you will find a pastor, elder, or church leader who would love the opportunity to meet you, have a conversation, answer any of your questions about our church and get you plugged into life at Northwood.
Another great way to get in touch with our pastors is by filling out a Connect Card. You can fill out these cards while in your seat during service or online, or by texting “new” to (817) 662-4802. Within a few days, you will be contacted directly by one of our pastors!
