Welcome to the NorthWood Student Ministry page. We hope that you find the information that you came looking for, if not please contact us at studentminstry@northwoodchurch.org. Our aim is to welcome your student as a part of the NorthWood Student Ministry Family. Just like actual families your student will encounter many different types of students, with many different likes and dislikes as well as interact with a couple of generations. Our aim is not to entertain them but to connect them to the Father God. Below is our mission statment and values for what our family is centered on, as well as our main activities throught out the week.

Mission:
Connecting students to the Father, Equipping students to do the same for others, and Sending students to do the Father's will.

Family Gatherings
MORE- Teaching Students to obey all that Jesus commanded
on sunday mornings at 9:30am in the plex

FAMILY TEAMS- Leading students to connect with the Father
on wednesday nights

FAMILY WORSHIP NIGHT- Gathering students to celebrate the Father's Love
Wednesday night worship (middle school at 6:16 and HIgh School at 7:30)

FAMILY DINNER NIGHT-
First wednesday of the month we serve dinner for grades 7-12 at 6:15 and joint service at 7:30-8:30

Family Beliefs:
The Father's love is the single greatest need in all people. (1John 4:18)
The Holy Spirit draws us to Jesus and Jesus is the way to the Father. (John 14)
The Family of God is the People who do the will of the Father. (Matthew 12:46-50)
Every Family member has responsibilities in God's household (Ephesians 4)
The Father's will is to use His children to adopt orphans. (Matthew 28:19-20)

We value unity in the Family
We value excellence in service
We value stewardship of all resources
We value God's written and spoken Word
We value celebrating Faithfulness in our Family
We value submission to God and His authorities.
We value the Lordship of Jesus over God's family.
We value training and releasing the children of God.
We value prayer and repentance for a healthy family.
